Local attractions include the Poppy Line steam railway, a number of National Trust Parks (such as Sheringham park and Felbrigg Hall), Sheringham beach, and local coastal walks.

Throughout the year Sheringham hosts a number of carnivals and festivals including 1940’s week, the steam gala in autumn, Sheringham carnival and the famous Crab and Lobster festival to name a few.
